ARIN KESHISHI

Bassist, composer and producer based in Amsterdam.

Arin was born in 1992 to an Armenian family in Tehran-Iran. His enthusiasm for music developed at an early age with classical guitar and soon after he found his passion for bass guitar. He graduated from Tehran University of Arts with a Bachelor in Classical Double Bass before moving to the Netherlands to complete a Masters degree in Jazz Bass Guitar at the Conservatory of Amsterdam where he had the privilege to take lessons with great bass masters.

Arin is known both as a solo artist as well as a multi-style session player with a versatile and diverse skillset. This musical diversity comes from his extensive experience in working with international musicians & artists from across the world, contributing to projects in a wide range of genres such as jazz, fusion, pop, rock, classical and flamenco as well as Iranian and Armenian folk. These collaborations have played a crucial role in developing the unique sound he is now known for.

He serves as the Artistic Director of the renowned Marmoucha Orchestra, while also passionately engaged as a composer and arranger.

In 2015, Arin began directing his own band under “Arin Keshishi Project”, producing jazz/fusion music in collaboration with International artists and released his debute album "Self-Reflection" in 2023.
